Thanksgiving in Montana!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope whatever you are doing today, you take some time to stop and think about everything and everyone you are thankful for. I think we should all take the time to do this more often. Life goes by so fast and sometimes I forget how wonderful and blessed my life is.

This year I am spending Thanksgiving in Montana with my aunt and uncle. Scott and I drove up from San Francisco! We left last Friday afternoon and made our way up here by Sunday night. It’s absolutely breathtaking here. I have been before, but every time I come back it gets more beautiful.

We usually visit in the spring or summer time. The weather is typically in the 70’s. We knew there was snow in the forecast for this trip. And, we even knew it was supposed to be a bit chilly. But, nothing could prepare this California Girl for the weather I have endured the last few days. I think 55 and below is cold. Well, it’s been around 0 degrees since we got here! It even got down to -15 one night. Holy cow! Now THAT is cold! It’s going to feel like summer all over again when I get home!

I hope all of YOU have a great Thanksgiving where ever you are and whoever you are with! Enjoy all of the delicious food as well! What is your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal? I think mine is the pumpkin pie. Yummmmm!
