I LOVE my family! They are the best. Even through some of them live farther than others, I love them all the same. I wish we could spend every Holiday together and celebrate every milestone in everyones lives together but that doesn’t always happen.
Last weekend my cousin Kelsey came to San Francisco with her high school choir to perform on Pier 39. I was super excited to see her and listen to them perform. I was also excited because my other cousin and his wife were driving up from Santa Cruz to see her as well. So, I invited my sister and boyfriend and we decided to make a family day out of it!
Southridge High School Choir was on a San Francisco tour and singing at Pier 39 and Grace Cathedral as well as making the trek to San Jose to see the production The Drowsy Chaperone. They also had some time to check out Alcatraz and did the Chinatown Ghost Tour. Both things I have never done and I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in San Francisco for 10 years now. Nice, huh? haha
I had an awesome time watching these students perform on Pier 39. I mean, I figured they could sing because, you know, they are in a choir and all. But holy cow! They can really, really SING! They were amazing! Every song was beautiful and they attracted quite a large crowd of listeners!
