Yes! I’m still alive!
Yes! I’ve been busy!
It’s time to catch up on some major blogging. I can’t believe it’s been so long! Every day I promised myself I would sit down and blog and then everyday something else would come up and I was rushed away from my computer. Plus, I have had a ton of editing I’ve had to get done. Which is a good thing, right? RIGHT!
Anyway, I am back! WooHoo! Good to be back. I missed blogging!
I have been photographing a lot of newborns lately. I am loving it! They are so….new! I love posing them! Some hate being on their tummy and some love it. Some want to sleep the whole time and some are wide awake! Some are quiet and some SCREAM! Whatever they do and however they act, I have been enjoying my time with them and I’m honored to be the first person to professionally photograph them!
I’ve also been busy with my commercial work! I’ve been photographing often for San Francisco Magazine. Myself, along with some other photographers, just finished photographing their in-room City Guide! I have also been doing some work for Coffee-mate and Cuties!
If I wasn’t staying busy enough with all of my photo shoots, I decided this year was the year I was going to WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) in Las Vegas. Ummmm…amazing! This was my first time going and I went ALONE!! Lucky for me I’m a friendly, talkative young lady and I can hold my own in a large crowd of strangers!
I met tons of awesome photographers! I wasn’t alone for long! I also learned a lot. In fact, I started the week off with a nice, new spiral notebook that was empty and walked out with an old, scratched, tattered book that only had three epmty pages left. Yeah, I learned just a little bit (hah!) and I’m still going through it all. Hold your horses because there are some cool changes coming!
So, there ya have it! I am just about recovered from Las Vegas and WPPI and I’m just about caught up on all of my editing! I have one more maternity shoot from last weekend and then I’m caught up. Yay! Just in time for another newborn shoot early next week!
